Recruitment Process RECRUITMENT - The Process Our recruitment process is an involved and lengthy process. Listed below are the steps one must go through before becoming a Daisy Mountain Fire Fighter: 1. Application 2. Written Exam - Comprehensive examination

CPAT - Candidate Physical Ability Test The CPAT process has not been scheduled at this time, all applicants are encouraged to participate in one of the CPAT exams offered through the Maricopa Community Colleges. The Daisy Mountain Fire Department will be accepting IN and OUT-of-state CPAT results. Candidates must provide official proof of completion of any such test. This CPAT test must have been successfully completed within six months of qualifying for a Fire Fighter hiring list. 4. First Oral Board The oral board is usually one of the last phases of the testing process. Like the other phases, preparation can be the key to success. It is critical to sharpen your interview skills prior to testing. Typical Fire Department oral interviews will be conducted by two to four fire department members. A great way to prepare is to go to one of the stations and talk to the people who have succeeded in the process. 5. Second Oral Board This oral board is a command level oral board.
