Wade Barter
It is with great sadness that we report the loss of Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Captain David “Wade” Barter.
Captain Barter was involved in a tragic hunting accident in the State of Colorado on November 16, 2017. Details surrounding the untimely passing of Captain Barter are still pending.
Captain Wade Barter, was a 17 year veteran of Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical. Throughout his career he held the titles of Firefighter, Engineer, Paramedic, Captain, Hazardous Materials Technician, Terrorist Liaison Officer (TLO), and Special Operations Coordinator. Captain Wade Barter was also a veteran of the United States Navy.
Of all of Wade Barter’s titles in life that he held, the ones most dear to his heart surrounded his family. Wade was a loving husband and father of 5 boys, a son, a brother, and a dear friend to many.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our friend and comrade Captain Wade Barter, and we ask that you keep his family and all of us here at Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical in your thoughts and prayers.
Services for Captain Wade Barter have been scheduled and are as followed.
Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am, on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at CCV (Christ's Church of the Valley) 7007 W Happy Valley Road, Peoria 85383. Burial will follow the service at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
