In Memory of Captain

Wade Barter

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Captain David “Wade” Barter.

Captain Barter was involved in a tragic hunting accident in the State of Colorado on November 16, 2017. Details surrounding the untimely passing of Captain Barter are still pending.

Captain Wade Barter, was a 17 year veteran of Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical. Throughout his career he held the titles of Firefighter, Engineer, Paramedic, Captain, Hazardous Materials Technician, Terrorist Liaison Officer (TLO), and Special Operations Coordinator.
